Ridge & Furrow Socks

Image
Ridge and Furrow Socks These socks are knit cuff down with a simple knit-purl pattern and an eye of partridge heel flap. Sporty No-show Socks Pattern

Sporty No-show Socks Pattern In the summer my partner almost exclusively wears no-show socks. Because he wears through the ball of his socks very quickly I've added extra reinforcement and padding to that area using slipped stitches. He also wants his socks to fit snuggly around his foot; therefore I added ribbing to the arch of the sock. Classic Striped Socks Pattern

Image
Classic Striped Socks Pattern These socks were inspired by classic men's striped socks. The ones you find in your grandmother's knitting pamphlets. I wanted to knit something that felt timeless and would last. I used a heavier fingering weight (4 ply) wool and knit it densely to aid in the life of the sock. I have all of my grandmother's knitting supplies from when the family lived in Alaska and she would knit my father and his siblings mittens, hats and socks, and they bring me constant inspiration. Moon Phase Socks Pattern

Image
Moon Phase Socks Pattern These socks are worked cuff down and have the phases of the moon worked in stranded colorwork.
